Integration or fragmentation? Latin America and the liberal order

Analytical assumptions regarding the East and West are emerging as key categories to understand and reinterpret the transformation of the liberal order underway.Amid these political changes, however, the Global South is (re)emerging as a meta-category whose nature takes multiple roles.From a historical perspective, this paper analyses the milestones that here have formed the notion of the Global South in terms of cooperation and development, with a particular focus on Latin America.
